Chloë interviewed for New York Times Style magazine

Apologies for the delay in updates – things are just incredibly quiet with Chloë right now, and there have been no news on her for the longest time. Hopefully more regular updates will resume soon, once she becomes more active again.

Anyway, I do have a small treat for you today. Proenza Schouler’s designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough recently interviewed Chloë for the New York Times style magazine, T, and it is definitely one of her better interviews in my opinion. The interview is (naturally) quite fashion-oriented. Read full interview at NYTimes.com, below is an excerpt:

When we were asked to be a part of this blog and interview some of the people who have been of inspiration to us, Chloë Sevigny was at the top of our list. Chloë seems to be able to use fashion as a form of self expression while somehow making it look effortless. This sense of confidence and willingness to take risks is a fascinating quality that has somehow enabled her to become one of the most iconic personalities of our generation. […]

What about fashion makes it so interesting to you? Is it another form of self-expression, of creating a character?
The huge amount of talent in fashion always blows my mind. There are so many perspectives and opinions. I find it limitless, and that’s what’s so fascinating. Plus, I love beautiful things.

Happy 33rd birthday, Chloë!

May she grace us with her phenomenal acting talent, fashion sense and beauty for many more years to come. On the behalf of Chloë Sevigny Online, I would like to offer Ms. Sevigny my warmest congratulations on her birthday! :)

Chloë in National Geographic’s “This Bulb” video

I just found out that our Chloë Sevigny is one of three celebrities advocating for more environmentally friendly light bulbs in National Geographic’s “This Bulb” video, encouraging people to switch away even just one regular light bulb in order to reverse the effects of global warming. Others featured in the video are actresses Natalie Portman and Kyra Sedwick, featuring music by Aimee Mann and exquisite National Geographic archival footage. Click here to watch the clip!

Welcome back to Chloë Sevigny Online!

As the previous domain chloe-online.net expired rather unexpectedly a few weeks back I had to whip up a new domain and design from somewhere – a huge thank you goes to my ever lovely host Gertie of Fan-Sites.org for aquiring this domain for me – but Chloë Sevigny Online is now back up and running. :) At any rate, I think this is an appropriate time for a revamp, and thus you are viewing a temporary version of the site, now powered by the excellent WordPress.

Most of the revamping will take place backstage, but once I have successfully moved the gallery to the new domain, I will be posting new pictures on a regular basis – I have a large batch of exclusive Chloë photography sent in by the previous owner of the site, Amelie. ;) At any rate, I will be regularly posting news and updates regarding Chloë until I have finished the revamp. The gallery will most likely be returning later today or tomorrow! Ta ta for now, though!
