Christine Vachons Killer Films produces alongside Bron Studios. This is the type of upmarket yet accessible fare that Vachon has excelled at in the past, including last years critically acclaimed Carol with Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. Number 9 Films Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Wooley were the lead producers on that terrific picture and shepherded the project through its development phase onto the screen. Vachon has reunited with that films director Todd Haynes on Wonderstruck, with Julianne Moore, which Amazon is financing. The script for Wonderstruck is said to have wowed buyers.
The award-winning Sevigny, who Deadline revealed was joining Andrew Haighs Lean on Pete, can currently be seen in Whit Stillmans well-reviewed Love & Friendship opposite Kate Beckinsale. She also stars in Netflix original series Bloodline. Sevigny recently made her directorial debut on the short film Kitty, about a little girl who dreams of being a kitten, which premiered to good notices at Cannes this year.
Sevigny also has a trio of projects in the pipelines: Universals The Snowman, opposite Michael Fassbender; Oren Movermans The Dinner, which stars Richard Gere and Charlie Plummer; as well as Alex Ross Perrys Golden Exits. She is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and WME.
