The designs featured on Chloë Sevigny Online are in 99% of all cases tested in the most common web browsers today, namely Internet Explorer (7 and/or 8), Firefox (3) and Safari (5). Unfortunately, due to the availability of such a wide range of browsers and their respective versions, it is rather difficult to make a layout fully cross-browser compatible. If you are having difficulties viewing the site, we can only suggest trying one of the aforementioned browsers.
• Sometimes I can’t access the site and only see a WordPress database error message. What’s going on?
It probably means the MySQL server is temporarily down or busy. Nothing to worry about.
• I didn’t get the activation email for the gallery/media archive. What can I do?
If you haven’t gotten the email within an hour and have made sure it hasn’t gotten stuck in your spam filter, it probably won’t find your way at all. Please contact the Chloë Sevigny Online Admin Team at contact[@]chloe-sevigny.org with your registered username and we’ll be happy to activate your username for you. There is no need to re-register.
• I didn’t get the password reset email for the gallery/media archive. What can I do?
If you haven’t gotten the email within an hour and have made sure it hasn’t gotten stuck in your spam filter, it probably won’t find your way at all. Please contact the Chloë Sevigny Online Admin Team at contact[@]chloe-sevigny.org with your registered username (and desired password) and we’ll be happy to reset it for you. There is no need to re-register.
• Sections of the media archive have no files! What’s going on?
Sections of our media archive are available to registered and logged media archive users only. These sections include:
- Media Archive: Video Archive
All files in the above sections are visible and accessible only to logged in media archive users. Unlogged (“Guest”) users will only get a “No image to display”-error upon trying to access said material. Registration at our media archive is free and only takes a moment.
• Upon logging in, the gallery/media archive script welcomes me, then logs me out! Help?
This is regrettably common with scripts such as Coppermine Photo Gallery, our currently employed photo gallery and media archive script. It is a cookie problem that presents itself with many other php/MySQL scripts, and to our knowledge there is no solid solution for this. Possible ways to overcome this problem is deleting your cookies and/or temporary internet files and/or switching to another browser, but that is really all the solution we can offer. Sorry!
• The gallery/media archive script says I’m banned! What’s going on?
Coppermine Photo Gallery, the script currently employed in our photo gallery and media archive, automatically puts a temporary ban in place once you or someone else has tried to log in with an incorrect username-password combination too many times. Don’t worry, the ban should be lifted in a short while.
