Exciting news!! According to an unverified rumor on The Fashion Spot Forums, Chloë Sevigny may be attached to Miu Miu’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 ad campaign.

Did Miu Miu Tap Chloe Sevigny for Its Fall 2012 Campaign?

Maybe! But disclaimer: this is a very very thin rumor. Based pretty much entirely on a one-sentence post in the TFS Fall 2012 Ad Campaign thread — “Chloe Sevigny is the new face of F/W 2012 Miu Miu,” says Lackuiew, citing an “industry source” — and a little bit of speculation.

As many of you will know, Chloë has been known to wear Miu Miu and appeared in the label’s Spring/Summer campaign back in 1996.

Keep your fingers crossed for this one!!

TV Guide has a brief but interesting little article on Chloë Sevigny discussing her upcoming (recurring guest?) role on FX’s American Horror Story. From TV Guide:

From her Oscar-nominated role in Boys Don’t Cry to her recent guest shot on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chloë Sevigny is no stranger to sexually charged material — and that’s not about to change. She’ll soon be seen as a transgendered hit man/woman in the British miniseries Hit & Miss (debuting on DirecTV July 11), and she’ll follow that up with a recurring gig as a nymphomaniac on Season 2 of FX’s explicit American Horror Story.

“It’s a great show — what am I going to say, I’m not going to do it because it’s another sexually provocative thing?” the Big Love alum tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. “I can’t turn down good work because of that.”

And she’ll be in good company: Among the staffers at a 1960′s East Coast mental hospital treating (or mistreating, as the case may be) her character is Golden Globe winner Jessica Lange, who previously worked with Sevigny on the Jim Jarmusch film Broken Flowers. As for the role of her doctor, “I hear they’re looking at a couple of big names,” says Sevigny. “They were talking about Ian McShane. I shouldn’t say this, but I’m kinda hoping they get him because I’m a big fan.”

Sounds like the talks have been finalized and Chloë is in! :)

Fretts on Film recently caught up with Chloë Sevigny to talk about some of her most recent films. Here’s some more information on Chloë’s involvement in the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic Lovelace, M. Blash’s The Wait, which has been “in post-production” since August 2011, and James Franco’s NYU student film Black Dog, Red Dog, straight from the source. Kicking things off with…

… Lovelace, in which Chloë appears opposite her Big Love co-star Amanda Seyfried, who plays the title role:

“I’m probably in a minute and a half of the movie,” Sevigny told me. “It’s a cameo. It’s at the very beginning of the movie, and I play a feminist journalist interviewing her about the provocative nature of her work. I love Amanda, and they have a lot of great people doing cameos.”

The Wait:

“The Wait is still pending distribution,” Sevigny says. “It’s a great movie. I love it. I hope somebody picks it up. But I loved his last movie [Lying from 2006, in which Chloë also appears], too. They’re not for everyone.”

And finally, Black Dog, Red Dog:

“It’s not a film. It’s a student film. I do student films now,” she says, with a laugh. “I live in New York, and I want to give back to the community a little bit.”

Will it get a theatrical release, like Franco’s master’s thesis, the Hart Crane biopic The Broken Tower? “God, I have no idea. I doubt it. Maybe. I have no idea what they do with these films,” says Sevigny, who plays one of the main characters’ girlfriends. “If [Broken Tower] got released with barely a blip, then I don’t have much hope for Red Dog, Black Dog or Black Dog, Red Dog.”
