Will & Grace is an Emmy Award-winning American TV sitcom that ran from 1998 to 2006. Set in New York City, the show follows Will Truman (McCormack) and Grace Adler (Messing), a gay lawyer and his straight best friend, and their lives together as friends and flatmates. Their closest friends also include Karen Walker (Mullally), Grace’s rich “assistant” with a distinct, high-pitched voice, and Jack McFarland (Hayes), a struggling gay actor/singer/dancer/cater-waiter.
In episode “East Side Story”, Will and Grace ride the success of their recent real-estate venture to expand to the East Side but clash with the reigning champs of “apartment flippers” — lesbians Deirdre (Falco) and Monet. Fighting against their new competition’s intimidation tactics, the enterprising duo must rely on Will’s masculine sex appeal in the hopes of dividing the same-sex real-estate moguls.
Chloë Sevigny guest stars in the episode as Monet.

“I’m sorry, I need food. I already burned off that Tic Tac.”
[Deirdre: "Yes, I have to tell you, this is a new thing for us. We rarely go out."]
“She likes me pale.”
[Will: "So, Monet--"]
“I’d love to.”
[Will: "All right!"]

Personal Thoughts
Sandra: Honestly, I’m not big on sitcoms, but you could do worse than watch half an hour of Will & Grace. In fact, as far as American sitcoms go, it was (and is) one of the best, I just didn’t know to appreciate it until it was gone (other popular shows such as Friends and Two and a Half Men have never hit home with me). Megan Mullally in particular was just in a league of her own as Karen Walker. Too bad the later seasons were so overly dramatic.
I was actually totally surprised to see Chloë guest star on the show — when the episode aired here in my country, I had no idea she was going to be in it. In fact, I didn’t even realize until much later that it was Chloë on the show! haha :D So far as I can remember, though, it was a small but delicious little role, and I’d actually really like to see Chloë do more comedy, because although Will & Grace gave us a little taste of what that’s like, her co-stars had most of the episode’s best lines.
