Today’s update I’m afraid has nothing to do with Chloë Sevigny, but rather a new site I have recently launched. Please excuse me while I indulge myself for just a moment.

I’d just like to point you in the direction of David Wenham News, a brand new news- and mediablog dedicated to the extraordinary Australian actor David Wenham, perhaps best known internationally for his portrayal of Faramir in the critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings-sequels, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. More recently, David has appeared in films such as 300, Public Enemies and Pope Joan. David Wenham News is a humble tribute to the actor and his career.

First off, my apologies for not being able to deliver those latest Big Love video clips or event HQs this week as promised. Rest assured I haven’t been idling, though; I have simply quite an overwhelming amount of media I’m working with at the moment. Sorry, guys! Here’s to hoping next week will be more productive.

Onto today’s (small) updates. To begin with, yesterday, February 13, Chloë Sevigny was spotted at the Opening Ceremony New York Store Opening, from which we’ve been able to find two medium-res photos so far. As always, we’ll add more if and when we find them. Still loving the new crop!

On another note, it’s once again Sunday, and therefore time for another new episode of Big Love, the critically acclaimed polygamist drama series starring Chloë Sevigny as second wife Nicolette “Nicki” Grant opposite Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Ginnifer Goodwin. Episode 4.06 “Under One Roof” airs tonight at 9 PM on HBO — be sure to tune in!

Surprise, y’all! Welcome to Chloë Sevigny Online, version 12! With so many exciting things up ahead and a bit of unexpected spare time on our hands, we decided it was time to refresh our Chloë Sevigny website, and have updated the site with a new look! As always, the design has been tested for functionality in Safari 4 (Mac), Firefox 3 (Windows XP/Mac) and Internet Explorer 6 (Windows XP). We hope it works for you!

Things were rather quiet with Chloë most of last year, but we’re confident things will pick up with tomorrow’s Golden Globes, Big Love Season 4 and Mr. Nice. Because we expect this to be a moderately busy Winter, we have now completed a long overdue revision of our written content and have proofread the entire site for spelling mistakes, faulty URLs and outdated information. We’ve also made some minor structural improvements to the site, which you may or may not notice browsing (though we hope you do).

Finally, many thanks to our generous host OurFandom.com for continued excellent fan site hosting service! For now, that should be all! Catch ya’ guys again very soon!

Well, folks, it’s that time of the year again. I will be out of town and out of reach 19.-26.12.2009, throughout which Chloë Sevigny Online will not be updated. We’ll furthermore be unable to read or respond to email sent to us in this time. We’ll be sure update the site with all the news and media we’ve missed during this period of time once we return + some extra goodies we have in store for you guys. Stay with us!

ATTENTION: Please note that the gallery & media archive will be closed for unregistered users throughout this time. Registration is also not available in this time. Only previously registered gallery/media archive users will be able to access the aforementioned sections, by logging in. Please do not email us with questions regarding registration or access in this time, as such emails will be ignored. Before today’s update, a small but significant site announcement. As some of you may have noticed, updates here at Chloë Sevigny Online have not been as frequent as usual. This is, in large part, due to lack of news on Chloë, however also because I am working out of town most weeks without a solid connection, which makes regular updating a bit of a challenge. We’ll continue to strive to be as up-to-date as we can, but my advance apologies if the site is a touch inactive this Fall. That’s all.

Onto today’s update. My wonderful regular scan contributors Sana of LaurenAmbrose.org and Gianluca have been active once again by sending in some fantastic new Chloë Sevigny scans. Another real treat; do check them all out (particularly the just added rare scan of Chloë in the July 1998 issue of Dazed & Confused — amazing!) Apologies for the recent delay in updates. I’m currently out of town with limited access to internet, which makes regular updating a bit of a challenge. Sorry!

Anyway, onto today’s news. On July 29 2009, Chloë Sevigny was looking nothing short of stunning at the BlackBerry Tour Smartphone U.S. Launch Party in New York. While we’re unable to add any new photos at the moment, the first photos from the event will be added as soon as possible, hopefully already some time later today. Just a quick heads-up to y’all that site updates here at Chloë Sevigny Online will in all likelihood be delayed until further notice due to technical complications at our end. We’re doing our best to patch things up, but until then updating, particularly with new media, will be difficult, as will reading and responding to new emails. We’ll of course be doing our best to keep you updated, particularly with any major news on Chloë should such surface, however don’t be surprised if we’re not quite as up to speed as usual. Chloë Sevigny Online relaunched!

… and to think this only took me two years. Ha. Anyway, Chloë Sevigny Online has finally been fully relaunched after a long, long time of being just a news and photoblog (since Fall 2007, in fact). Hooray!

As some of you will come to notice, some smaller sections of the site remain labeled as “coming soon”. This is because unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish these sections on time, so they remain to be completed at another time. However, 90% of the site is now (back) online and fully functional! Most sections are either new or have been updated with the most recent information. We also now have a media archive, currently featuring more than 100 items of Chloë Sevigny video clips and fan art — if you have anything to contribute, by the way, please do so! We’d love to expand our collection of Chloë media.

Furthermore, the site has a new look, courtesy of yours truly. (About time, too! After more than a year, that previous one was really beginning to rub me the wrong way.) The design has been tested for functionality in Internet Explorer 6 (Windows), Safari 3 (Mac) and Firefox 2/3 (Mac/Windows respectively) — if you for whatever reason are experiencing problems with the design, I can only suggest trying one of the aforementioned browsers. I hope you like it!

Finally, with the revamp more or less complete, regular updates will now resume. Happy surfing, y’all! And a special thank you to my loyal visitors who have continued visiting the site in all this time. It’s your positive feedback that encourages and inspires me to continue running and improving on this site! You know who you are.

New photo gallery design!

As promised, we have (at last!) a new design up at the photo gallery! It’s been tested for functionality in most browsers (except for the ever lovely Internet Explorer 7, which I firmly refuse to install on my computer), so hopefully it works for most of our visitors! The photo of Chloë used in the layout originates from her lovely Hollywood Life photoshoot from 2007.

Speaking of that particular photoshoot, visitors of Chloë Sevigny Online should look forward to another scan update in coming days. Stay tuned!
