More fresh caps today! The gallery has just been updated with 426 1080p Blu-Ray screen captures of Chloë Sevigny as Ingrid in Werner Herzog’s drama/thriller My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done, starring Michael Shannon, Willem Dafoe and Chloë’s Big Love co-star Grace Zabriskie. Hope you like ‘em!

Personally, I’m not really sure how I feel about this one as a movie. I said it’s a drama/thriller, but the movie is not really that easily categorized. I don’t know that I quite understood why and how Brad transformed, but Shannon delivers an incredible, unparalleled performance as the unpredictable Brad, and Chloë is simply terrific as the (by contrast) grounded Ingrid; a subtle yet strong performance as a likable and easily relatable character. Together with Shannon, they really carry the film for me.

Anyway, the caps as follows…

Surprise! We’ve just updated the gallery with 297 1080p Blu-Ray screen captures of Chloë Sevigny as Jennifer Farley in Chris D’Arienzo’s last year’s indie comedy Barry Munday, starring Patrick Wilson and Judy Greer. Personally, I thought it was a really funny movie, and Wilson and Greer are absolutely terrific in their respective lead roles. Shame it went so unnoticed last year, as I for one thought it definitely worth a look! Anyway, hope you like the caps!

Some new Big Love Season 5 things today. To begin with some pictures, HBO has revealed the winter-themed Season 5 poster for the series, which has been uploaded to our gallery alongside some great hi-res Season 5 promotional stills as well as a couple of hi-res promotional pics of the Henrickson family. Some of the stills we’ve uploaded today are as of yet unsorted because we’re not sure which S5 episode(s) they specifically belong to, but of course as soon as we do we’ll resort them.

Then a couple of teasers. First, this short teaser for Nicolette “Nicki” Grant:

Another interesting recent article and interview with Chloë Sevigny, from EW.com. In this article, Chloë talks chiefly about her future projects post-Big Love (which may or may not include television and Broadway) and her thoughts on the YouTube “Chloe” impersonator. Full article under the cut.

Big Love star Chloe Sevigny on starring opposite Katie Holmes on Broadway, her dream TV job, and the comedian who spoofs her online

Big Love fans were sad to learn that this will be the final season of HBO’s family drama (spoiler alert: I’ve seen the premiere episode and it’s great) but star Chloe Sevigny, who plays the manipulative Nicki, is already thinking about her future gigs. The actress’ name has been mentioned as potentially starring opposite Katie Holmes in a Broadway revival of the play Extremities. Sevigny confirmed that she has indeed been considering a role in the revival . “I was reading it and I’m kind of seeing how the cast is gonna pan out,” she says. “I know the director is great but I feel like the cast has gotta be real strong. And it’s such a commitment.”

Meanwhile, she’s not ruling out a return to a TV series but is very specific about what she wants out of the project, namely, that it’s shot on the East Coast. Says the actress, “I’m not opposed to another series but I don’t think I’d do one in Los Angeles. I’d like to do a half-hour comedy on a cable network in New York where I play someone really glamorous and really goofy. That’s my dream job!” she says, laughing.

But the question everyone wants to know (or maybe just me and my EW colleagues Tanner Stransky and Henry Goldblatt) is what does Sevigny think about comedian Drew Droege and his hilarious series of viral video spoofs of the actress? “I met him the other day,” says Sevigny. “I feel like he doesn’t dress like me, he doesn’t talk like me! I feel like there’s zero connection. I don’t even understand how he can say it’s me. And then the things he references are sooo not me. He was very charming and very nervous. He thought I hated him. Of course not! I’m flattered. But it’s just not me at all!”

We’re back! And while we were gone, it looks like Chloë Sevigny’s interview in the recently published January 2011 issue of US Playboy‘s been making headlines.

Those who have read the interview will know that Chloë talked among other things a little bit about her experience starring in writer-director-star Vincent Gallo’s infamous film, The Brown Bunny (2003), and the uproar and harsh critique that followed her notorious oral sex scene with Gallo. Interestingly, Gallo himself has now opened up about Chloë’s involvement in the film to NY Post’s Page Six, as follows:

“Chloe and I were never boyfriend and girlfriend. In 1995 we made out once in Paris. I feel Chloe has suggested we were boyfriend and girlfriend to lessen the boldness of her appearance [...] and to portray herself as a devoted girlfriend and victim rather than a great radical performer. Chloe brilliantly understood that the media would persist in thinking that she did it out of loyalty to me. [...] I am sorry she feels the experience was so startling that she needs therapy to resolve her feelings.”

Peaches Geldof also had something to say to Chloë’s remarks about her in the issue, but who wants to know.

Merry Christmas, guys (and gals)! Chloë Sevigny is featured in the January 2011 issue of US Playboy.

In the issue, Chloë answers Playboy‘s 20 Questions and is also featured in two photos. Although the pics are few, the interview is quite terrific (no, really!), with some great, honest quotations from Chloë regarding e.g. the new season of Big Love, growing up, The Brown Bunny and its infamous Chloë scene, the annual Emmy snubs and winning her first ever Golden Globe, and the 1994 article in The New Yorker that crowned her the “It girl”. The interview under the cut + a couple of scans in our gallery.

20Q: Chloë Sevigny

The ‘Big Love’ star and indie darling talks about what happens when you bad-mouth your hit show, the downside of sex scenes and how she’s getting tired of boyfriends who text instead of show up.

Q1: You’re known for your Oscar-nominated performance as the girlfriend of transgendered Hilary Swank in Boys Don’t Cry, and last year you won a Golden Globe for playing a sour, scheming polygamist fundamentalist Mormon wife on Big Love. You front a hip fashion line, you’re a much-photographed club scenester and you’ve made risky indie films that sometimes involve nudity. But no matter what your accomplishments, some people can’t get over that scene in the 2003 flick The Brown Bunny in which you give writer-director Vincent Gallo a blow job.
“What’s happened with that is all very complicated. There are a lot of emotions. I’ll probably have to go to therapy at some point. But I love Vincent. The film is tragic and beautiful, and I’m proud of it and my performance. I’m sad that people think one way of the movie, but what can you do? I’ve done many explicit sex scenes, but I’m not that interested in doing any more. I’m more self-aware now and wouldn’t be able to be as free, so why even do it?”

According to the New York Post, Chloë Sevigny will be appearing as judge in Season 3 of Logo TV’s drag queen contest RuPaul’s Drag Race. Here’s the report, the trailer for the upcoming new season and a screen cap of the blink-and-you’ll-miss it shot of Chloë in it:

And let me get an “Amen!” because PopWrap has your exclusive first look at the women competing to prove they have the perfect mixture of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.

Margaret Cho, Lily Tomlin, Chloe Sevigny, LaToya Jackson and Johnny Weir are just a few of the famous faces sashaying onto the judges panel this year while the challenges promise to be campier, the girls thankfully get bitchier and the show continues to transcend the guilty pleasure label.
