Thanks to classicalbang, tapenerd and blushingambition @ The Fashion Spot, we’ve updated the gallery with six greyscale photos of Chloë Sevigny at Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon’s “The Noise Paintings” Exhibition Opening in New York City last Thursday, April 8. As some of you may know, Chloë did a bit of modeling for Kim Gordon’s X-Girl fashion label in the mid-90’s and appeared in the 1993 music video for Sonic Youth’s “Sugar Kane”.

That Havlicek-shoot gets around, doesn’t it? Chloë Sevigny is featured in her fourth Harper’s Bazaar issue this Spring, this time the April 2010 issue of the Indonesian publication of the magazine. While we have no additional details on the inside feature as-of-yet, we do know that the cover shot, while new per se, originates from the gorgeous Pavel Havlicek-photographed shoot that’s already been prominently featured in Harper’s Bazaar Korea, Singapore and Russia this Spring, and looks very closely like this shot from the April 2010 Russian issue.

A few years ago, however, she did take a brief stab at trying to play by the rules. “For a while, I was doing more commercial press, making more mainstream choices, going to certain parties, stuff like that,” she concedes. “I tried to look a bit more [she makes air-quotes] ‘accessible’.” But, she adds, dryly, “It turned out my version of accessible wasn’t really all that accessible.”

Although this amazing Pavel Havlicek-photographed shoot itself isn’t new to us, as it’s been previously featured in both the Korean and Singaporean editions of the publication, these particular photos are unseen and absolutely worth a look!

Looks like that Korean Bazaar photoshoot will make another reappearance, as Chloë Sevigny is currently featured on the cover of the April 2010 issue of Russian Harper’s Bazaar. Although the cover shot specifically is new to us, it originates from the Pavel Havlicek-photographed shoot that premiered in the February 2010 issue of the magazine’s Korean counterpart. A quick throwback to last year today as we have some new behind-the-scenes videos from Chloë Sevigny’s last year’s photoshoot for the August-September 2009 issue of Tokion (US) for you, as photographed by Warwick Saint.

In the first video clip, we get to see Chloë get photographed in shower settings, while the second features a few comments from Chloë after the shoot on how it all went. We also have a first medium-res photo of Chloë on the set of the shoot with photographer Saint. Be sure to have a look!

The video features not only a look at Chloë on the set of the shoot but also some comments on the shoot and fashion in general by Chloë herself, photographer Rankin as well as others. The magazine features a gigantic editorial of portraiture of various fashion icons and influencers, one of them being Chloë.
