I’d like to remind you all that Chloë’s “Ask Chloë” style column is once again featured in the latest issue of Elle (UK), namely May 2008. Pop queen Madonna graces the issue’s cover, a preview of which you’ll find to your right. We’ll have some scans coming your way soon, hopefully by next weekend. Stay tuned!

As earlier reported, Chloë continues to be Elle’s style advisor, and her “Ask Chloë” fashion column is featured again in their April 2008 (UK) issue. You’ll find actress Kate Hudson is gracing the cover. To your right is a small preview of the Hudson cover so you know what you need to be looking for in stores.

I’ve added two 2 hi-res scans of Chloë’s Elle feature to the gallery. To my understanding, Chloë has been hired as the magazine’s style advisor for six months, so I think we can safely look forward to at least four more column entries from our favorite style guru.

You’ll notice Chloë is once again wearing designs from her own collection for Opening Ceremony.

I finally obtained a copy of the March 2008 issue of Elle (UK), which features Chloë in a fabulous new photoshoot. 14 hi-res scans of the issue have been added to the gallery!

For those who are not quite up-to-date with Chloë’s latest doings, Elle magazine has hired her as their new style advisor, and for the next six months she will be answering your fashion and style-related questions in her “Ask Chloë” column. The people at ElleUK.com have posted an exclusive video clip that goes behind the scenes of Chloë’s recent photoshoot for the March 2008 issue of Elle UK (better resolution scans coming up later this week). The clip contains a lot of great footage from the set, so I highly recommend watching it.

After a long quiet period I am so glad to finally see some new Chloë-ness! As we reported earlier, Chloë is now Elle magazine’s “style advisor” and will be writing a column for the magazine for the next six months, and thus she is currently featured in the March 2008 issue of Elle (UK) in a brand new, sizzling photoshoot!

I’ve added eight scans from the issue to the gallery thanks to OhJane of The Fashion Spot – I will upload better resolution scans (including such of the “Ask Chloë”-column on page 188 of the magazine, which are currently not among the scans) as soon as the issue reaches my country. The problem with being a style icon, part one: your look gets ripped off. ‘A few years ago I started wearing these white Ray-Ban Wayfarers that my mother found at a flea market in Connecticut,’ says Chloë Sevigny. ‘I loved them and wore them every day. But I was constantly made fun of by all the tabloids, attacked over and over again. It got to the point where my publicist and my agent had this conference call with me – yes, a conference call – and said, “Chloë, we know you really like those sunglasses but people are taking the piss out of you so much that we have to advise you to stop wearing them.” I was, like, OK fine, I’m sick of them anyway. But then the next summer those white Ray-Bans were everywhere! You could not escape them. Mary-Kate Olsen wore them and it was, like, “Mary-Kate starts a new trend.” I never got any credit! I’m so off the radar!’ She bursts into laughter – and what a magnificent laugh she has, kind of like an asthmatic donkey. She takes a sip of green tea and reconsiders. ‘Well, I think I am on the radar for style-setters. And then it trickles down from what they do.’

Well, this is interesting news. Guardian Unlimited reports Elle magazine have hired Chloë to be their new “style advisor”. From Guardian Unlimited:

“For the next six months Sevigny will be answering letters about style for us,” says Candy, sitting across the table in her cramped Mayfair office. “‘Style advisor’ is not just a title – she’ll really be doing it, she has a column. She is not someone who’s instantly recognisable – she couldn’t go on a Glamour or Cosmopolitan cover, she could only go on an Elle cover to be honest. But what we’re saying with this [signing] is that this magazine is about fashion and style – and next month we’ve got someone who the author Jay McInerney once called ‘the most stylish girl in the world’ on the cover.”

Hmm. I’m not sure what to think of Candy’s statement regarding how recognizable Chloë is, but other than that all this sounds exciting!
