Chloë Sevigny portrait at “Art for Love” Exhibition up for charity auction

A portrait of Chloë Sevigny currently on display at Moncler’s “Art for Love” Exhibition at the New York Public Library is up for auction at Paddle8.

The portrait, photographed by Self Service editor-in-chief Ezra Petronio, will be auctioned off at a starting price of $1,000, with proceeds going to amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research.

More information on the exhibition and charity auction from Stylabl:

On the second day of the Fashion Week in New York, Moncler launched “Art for Love” at the New York Public Library. 32 famous photographers photographed the iconic Moncler down jacket, (among them was Patrick Demarchelier, Bruce Weber and Annie Leibovitz) for a performance mixing fashion with art. Proceeds will benefit amfAR’s research initiative Countdown to a Cure for AIDS, which aims to find a cure by the year 2020.

“I chose the Maya jacket as the ‘subject’ of this project because it represents [the brand’s] heritage, and is at the same time so iconic that these master lensmen could interpret it as they wished. The exhibition features extraordinary images by masters of the camera who use their very own language to depict love as the bedrock of the life of human beings.”
-Remo Ruffini, Moncler President (via Vogue)

Bidding ends on September 29th at 6pm EST. Bid on Chloë’s portrait on Paddle8.com.
