Chloë in ‘Self Service’ (Fr) issue #32 — scans

Many thanks to cul8tr @ The Fashion Spot, we’ve been able to update the gallery with two great scans of Chloë Sevigny’s two-pager in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue (#32) of the bi-annual French fashion publication, Self Service. Chloë’s polaroids were snapped by editor-in-chief Ezra Petronio. Check them out at our gallery!

On another small note, apologies for the recent delay in updates here. Although there hasn’t really been anything to report news-wise (with Chloë filming The Wait in Portland, Ore), we do have a couple of neat scan treats coming up for you. However, we’re currently out of town and therefore a little slow at getting things done. Bear with us!

Chloë in Will Frears’ 2009 drama short ‘Beloved’

Well, it appears we’ve missed a project of Chloë’s altogether! According to the Hamptons International Film Festival website, Chloë Sevigny appears as Kim in Will Frears’ 8-minute drama short Beloved, which premiered at the festival in October last year. Synopsis from the festival website:

Acclaimed actress Chloe Sevigny stars in the moving portrait of a recently widowed soldier’s wife who visits her husband’s grave. HIFF alum director Will Frears deftly captures both the sorrow, and hope of a situation faced by so many young Americans.

We’ve updated the gallery with a small promotional still of Chloë in the film, however that’s about all the information we have on her involvement in the production. If anyone has any additional details to share with us, please do! Thank you.

New movie: Chloë to star in M. Blash’s ‘The Wait’

Exciting news! According to Variety (a generally very reliable source for entertainment news), Chloë Sevigny has been cast opposite Luke Grimes and Jena Malone in writer-director M. Blash’s The Wait. From the source:

Luke Grimes (Shit Year) has been set as the male lead opposite Chloe Sevigny and Jena Malone in director/writer M. Blash’s The Wait. Neil Kopp and Ryan Crisman are producing with principal photography beginning this week in Portland, Ore.

The film follows two sisters who decide to keep their deceased mother in the house after receiving a call that she will come back to life. Grimes will portray a philosophical and enigmatic man who becomes smitten with Malone’s character.

The Wait will reunite Chloë with both Malone and Blash, whom she worked with on the 2006 drama Lying. Congrats on the new film, Chloë!

‘My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done’ on Region 1 & 2 DVD this September

According to the Amazon.com and .co.uk product listings, Werner Herzog’s psychological thriller My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done will be released on Region 1 / North American and Region 2 / European DVD on September 14 and September 27 respectively. Both are available for pre-order via Amazon, the Region 1 DVD for $24.98 and Region 2 for £12.99. Be sure to get your copy!

It’s here! And it’s gorgeous! The first pictures of Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Resort 2011, Chloë’s third collection for the Opening Ceremony brand, have finally been revealed — and it is simply superb. Prepare yourselves for a big update.

The new collection was presented at an Opening Ceremony Garden Party on the Nolita side of New York early last week (June 8, to be precise), where designer Chloë and Opening Ceremony founder Humberto Leon were of course in attendance alongside a huge bunch of guests and presentation models. Some pictures from the event can be browsed at our gallery.

New trailer for ‘Mr. Nice’

Have a look at this brand new trailer from IGN.com for Bernard Rose’s Howard Marks-biopic, Mr. Nice, in which Chloë Sevigny stars as Judy Marks opposite Rhys Ifans and David Thewlis. Although the trailer features a lot less of Chloë than the near one-year-old previous trailer, all the shots of her appear to be new and the new trailer is far more polished as a whole than its predecessor. Also, keep an eye on www.mrnice-themovie.co.uk for an official site, coming soon.
