American actress and fashion icon Chloë Sevigny is one of Hollywood's boldest and most gifted actors. Known for her many indie film roles, Sevigny has garnered much critical acclaim since her 1995 debut, most recently a Golden Globe for her performance on HBO's Big Love. Sevigny is also widely revered for her sense of style, and recently launched her fourth collection for the hip NY label Opening Ceremony.

More long overdue media! Today, the media archive has been updated with 7 site-exclusivemovie clips of Chloë Sevigny’s portrayal of Melanie Greysmith in Zodiac (2007), the acclaimed David Fincher-directed fact-based thriller about a San Fransisco serial killer who torments both the police and the press with cryptic clues and messages. The film also stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards and Robert Downey Jr. Be sure to check them out!

Again, much as the trend has been throughout this year, news on Chloë have died down for the time being. So instead, we thought this might be an appropriate time to start updating the site with some new media that we confess we’ve been sitting on for a while (yes, we’ve been slacking — also, we’ve been out of town).
Today, the media archive has been updated with 9 site-exclusivevideo clips of Chloë Sevigny’s portrayal of military psychologist Emily Reilly in the Jonathan Liebesman-directed indie thriller, The Killing Room, which was released on Region 1 and 2 DVD earlier this Fall. The Killing Room co-stars Timothy Hutton, Nick Cannon, Peter Stormare and Clea DuVall, and depicts a highly controversial secret government experiment on a group of volunteers, unaware of what kind of an experiment they have really signed up for. Hope you enjoy!

It’s been a long while since we last had any news on Barry Munday, the Chris D’Arienzo-directed comedy starring Chloë Sevigny opposite Patrick Wilson, Judy Greer, Cybill Shepherd and Missi Pyle. Although we still have no word on the film’s release prospects, Steven kindly alerted us to a first promotional still of Chloë as Jennifer Farley in the movie via Flixster; the medium-res photo is available for viewing at our photo gallery. Thanks, Steven!
Regarding the release of the movie, its Internet Movie Database-page, although still retaining the previously reported 2009 U.S. release plans, it is likely that the information is outdated and incorrect, as the page was last updated in May ’09, and obviously 2009 is at this point beginning to draw to a close. Hopefully, there will be news and a release date soon!
Big Love news! Check out the first promotional TV spot for the upcoming fourth season of HBO’s Big Love, courtesy of MovieWeb. The critically acclaimed polygamist drama series stars Chloë Sevigny as Nicolette “Nicki” Grant opposite Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin and Amanda Seyfried, with Season 4 currently set to premiere January 10 2010. Personally, I think it’s their most interesting promo yet!

Some time back we reported on Chloë Sevigny gracing the cover of the November 2009 issue of French L’Officiel. The ever generous Gianluca was once again quick to send in some hi-res scans, 14 of which have been uploaded to the gallery. Personally, I can’t wait for this issue to reach stores in my country; the photos are great! As always, many thanks to Gianluca for the scans! Enjoy the new photos.
It’s been a while since we last had any movie news to update with. Fangoria now reports, however, that Werner Herzog’s My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done thriller has been picked up for a theatrical release. Chloë Sevigny stars as Ingrid in the film opposite Michael Shannon, Willem Dafoe and Grace Zabriskie. From Fangoria:
Absurda and Industrial Entertainment have announced that their film MY SON, MY SON, WHAT HAVE YE DONE has set a debut theatrical-release date. The movie marks the first collaboration between cinematic mavericks Werner Herzog and David Lynch, who directed and executive-produced respectively.
MY SON, MY SON will open Friday, December 11 at New York City’s IFC Center (323 6th Avenue), with playdates in other cities to follow. Though word from early screenings is that it’s not really a horror film, it does deal with rather twisted subject matter—a man (BUG’s Michael Shannon) who murders his mother with a sword while acting out a Sophocles play—and features a genre-centric cast including ANTICHRIST’s Willem Dafoe, SISTERS’ Chloe Sevigny, Udo Kier and Brad Dourif.
Be sure to visit the film’s official site at MySon-MySon.com if you haven’t already; some small new promotional stills of Chloë in the film have been uploaded from the website to our gallery. Also, check out the trailer for the film below:
At last, some fresh photos! Yesterday, November 5 Chloë Sevigny was spotted at Tom Ford’s ‘A Single Man’ Closing Night Party in Los Angeles, CA. While we’ve only been able to find four medium-res photos of Chloë at the event so far, as always, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more. Good to see her out and about again regardless! Enjoy!
The Twitter web widget will be down while we look for new alternatives to replace the old one, which Twitter has discontinued. In the mean time, check out our full feed on Twitter @chloesevignyorg.
