It’s was quite a while ago since we last had some movie news to report. However, there’s finally some news, as according to Reuters, Chloë is in negotiations to star in the upcoming film Mr. Nice:
The true story of international drug dealer and UK spy Howard Marks is aiming to give moviegoers a buzz. Rhys Ifans, Chloë Sevigny and David Thewlis are in final negotiations to star in Mr. Nice, writer-director Bernard Rose’s adaptation of Marks’ 2002 best-selling autobiography.
Ifans will play Britain’s one-time most wanted man, a late-’60s-era Oxford grad and teacher who turned to drug smuggling out of boredom and to impress his future wife Judy (Sevigny). While enlisting the help of an Irish Republican Army boss (Thewlis) for a hashish job, he was recruited by a British intelligence officer for a loose network of informants. The charming criminal assumed the alias Mr. Nice. After encounters with the Mafia and CIA and nearly 30 tons of pot smuggling, he spent seven years in prison.
Personally, I can’t wait! It’s been a while since we had anything new movie-wise in Chloë-land.

The lack of photos is truly astounding. Sigh. Stay tuned for Elle (UK) scans, though, as I have finally obtained my copy of their latest issue, featuring Chloë’s monthly style column.
Meanwhile, Reuters posted this interesting bit of news about a Chloë Sevigny sleepover at the Guggenheim Museum in New York tomorrow:
New York art lovers now have the ultimate sleepover to rival children’s nocturnal stays at the Natural History Museum — a night in the Guggenheim Museum. The Guggenheim Museum is welcoming overnight guests as part of a new exhibition called “theanyspacewhatever” and the rates aren’t bad compared to the usual high prices for central Manhattan hotels.
The first overnight guest at the exhibition, which opens on Friday and runs until January 7, will be actress Chloë Sevigny who will sleep in the room on Saturday.
As always, we’ll be on the look-out for photos from the event (though considering the general lack of them despite news reports throughout this Fall of Chloë attending various events and parties isn’t too hope-inspiring).

Ooh, exciting news! Luxist.com reports Chloë will be showing up at designer Katy Rodriguez’s show at John Lautner’s Harper residence in Los Angeles, California this upcoming Sunday. Hopefully the upcoming event will result in new Chloë photos! From Luxist.com:
On Sunday evening, a select group of Los Angeles design luminaries will converge at the intersection of fashion and architecture — Katy Rodriguez’s show at John Lautner’s Harpel residence. Models and It Gals like Chloë Sevigny and Christina Ricci will be wearing Rodriguez’s latest designs and mingling with guests including artists Shepard Fairey and Raymond Pettibon.
In other news, according to Women’s Wear Daily, last Sunday Chloë threw a celeb-studded party at Chez Régine in Paris, France. Celebrity guests included actresses Mary-Kate Olsen, Kirsten Dunst and Kate Bosworth. I haven’t been able to find any photos of Chloë at the event yet, but I’ll keep looking, as always.

Apologies for the delay in updates, but things have been downright dead quiet with Chloë these past few weeks. However, we finally have some news. Macy; Timothy Hutton-Chloë Sevigny starrer The Killing Room from ContentFilm Intl.; and Forest Whitaker topliner Powder Blue, from QED Intl. and also starring Jessica Biel and Ray Liotta.
