The people at Buddy TV recently posted an interesting and somewhat spoilerific article on the upcoming third season of HBO’s acclaimed polygamist drama series Big Love, which is definitely worth a read if you don’t mind being spoiled a little. I won’t be posting any spoilers here in case you want to remain entirely spoiler-free, however those interested should head over to BuddyTV.com for more!
However, the article also raised a concern regarding the upcoming season which deserves some attention here. According to Buddy TV, various sources (which these are, I know not) have been speculating Big Love might not return as planned — as some of you may already know, HBO confirmed some time back to E! Online new episodes should begin to air on January 11 2009. From Buddy TV:
Meanwhile, there has been plenty of speculation that Big Love might not be returning as originally planned. As reported previously, HBO is expected to air new episodes of the drama series beginning January 11, 2009. However, various sources are reporting that the show might return on January 25 or on a much later date.
All I can say is, eek!

Still no photos of Chloë at the Mercedes-Benz fashion week, I’m afraid, which is quite the surprise to me. However, we can finally look forward to new Chloë photos as my good friend Filip of Becki-Newton.net recently alerted me to a 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards press release, according to which Chloë is among the event’s presenters on September 13 (that’s today, everyone!). From Emmys.tv:
Jennifer Beals (The L Word), Valerie Bertinelli (True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men), Alan Cumming (Tin Man), Cat Deeley (So You Think You Can Dance), Lisa Edelstein (House M.D.), Jenna Fischer (The Office), Seth Green (Robot Chicken), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Tom Hanks (Executive Producer, John Adams), Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds), Jack McBrayer, (30 Rock), Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer), Masi Oka (Heroes), Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies), James Pickens Jr. (Grey’s Anatomy), Oliver Platt (Nip/Tuck), Chloë Sevigny (Big Love), Sarah Silverman (The Sarah Silverman Program), Evan Spiridelis (JibJab Media Inc) and Gregg Spiridelis (JibJab Media Inc) have been confirmed as presenters for the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards, executive producers Lee Miller and Steve Venezia, and producer Spike Jones, Jr., announced today.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 13, at the NOKIA Theatre. E! Entertainment Television will air the awards show as a 2-hour special on Saturday, September 20, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) will host. Carole Propp is coordinating producer and Chris Donovan will direct.
This is great news! Stay tuned to us for coverage.

After a year-long wait I am pleased to announce a completely revamped version of Chloë Sevigny Online is finally underway! (Yes, really.) I am working on a completely new look and literally tons of new, rare and site-exclusive content — heck, even a new site name. However, more on all these changes later.
As part of the upcoming site revamp and relaunch, I am currently in the process of building a comprehensive Chloë Sevigny multimedia archive for the site, the largest of its kind online. For this purpose I am looking for Chloë-related fan art and/or media contributions! Here’s what we are looking for:
• Chloë Sevigny-related fan art: icons, wallpapers, calendars, blends, colorizations, wallscrolls, drawings/paintings… you name it!
• Chloë Sevigny-related media: any Chloë audio and/or video clips, photos
Even the smallest of media contributions would be most appreciated, and you will of course receive full credit for your work. Please email any contributions to contact[@]chloe-sevigny.org (or alternatively sandra[@]grey-wanderer.org) with the subject “Chloë Sevigny Online Contributions”. Don’t forget to include your name a url you would like credited, if any. Thank you!

Yayness! Perhaps we’ll finally have some new Chloë photos soon! CityLife reports Chloë and brother Paul were spotted at the Agyness Deyn-hosted “Resurrection: Avant Garde Fashion & Contemporary Art” party in New York on September 4. From CityLife:
One of many Fashion Week kick-off events was the Agyness Deyn-hosted, Thierry Mugler-sponsored bash last night at Christie’s, where Chloë Sevigny, Henry Holland, Kelly Osbourne, Peaches Geldof, Yigal Azrouël, Kelly Cutrone, Paul Sevigny, Kate Schelter, Jennifer Creel, Holly Dunlap, Genevieve Jones, Jen Cohen, Dori Cooperman, Ellen Von Unwerth, Padma Lakshmi, and Mary Alice Stephenson previewed the auction house’s fall sales of post-war and contemporary art, impressionist and modern art, and fashion.
So far, I haven’t been able to find any photos, but hopefully some will surface soon. The report also raises hopes of Chloë attending more fashion week events. Fingers crossed!
