It’s been quiet here of late, hasn’t it? There simply hasn’t been much news on Chloë of late, hence the less-than-frequent updates here at Chloë Sevigny Online. Today, however, I decided it was time for a change, and have thus updated the gallery with 350+ random (vintage) Chloë photos, most of which are scans from the early days.
I highly recommend checking out all the new footage, these are some of my all-time Chloë photo favorites. A huge thank you for many of these goes to Gianluca, Mirik, 1karina1 @ The Fashion Spot and former site owner Amelie. A full list of new and updated photo albums under the cut. Enjoy!

Finally some news, and some good news at that! I was at the local store today only to find the latest, September 2008 issue of Elle (UK) already out, and was most pleased to find Chloë’s “Ask Chloë” style column once again featured. I guess this means we still have more column entries to look forward to, since the original report of six months is evidently untrue; the the September issue of the magazine marks Chloë’s 7th column entry.
To those interested in grabbing the magazine themselves, actress Mary-Kate Olsen graces the issue’s cover, a preview of which you’ll find to your right. The most sharp-eyed ones will soon notice this month’s Chloë photo is in fact not from the Matthias Vriens-photographed Elle shoot, but rather an older one by Marc de Groot (who actually happens to be one of my favorite photographers). Stay tuned for scans!

Some might be curious as to why Chloë, usually such a frequent face on the red carpet, hasn’t been attending any events in a while. Well, here’s probably why. DailyDemocrat.com reports Big Love Season 3 is currently being filmed in the city of Woodland, California. Please note that the article contains some mild spoilers regarding the upcoming season. From DailyDemocrat.com:
The cast and crew of the HBO series Big Love descended on Woodland on Saturday, part of a weeklong filming stint that will take them all over Yolo and neighboring counties, on-set sources said.
The show will be filming in Yolo and surrounding counties for another week, as part of a road-trip plot line, on-set sources said. — [Golden State Security owner Wayne] Wall’s company was hired to provide security while Big Love was in town filming, a process he expected to last through Aug 15.
Most of the filming Saturday took place on Interstate 5 and Highway 113, Wall said. — The crew started filming Friday in Coloma, in El Dorado County, best known as the site where James Marshall first discovered gold in California, Wall said. Additional scenes will be shot over the coming week in Grasslands Regional Park in Davis, and in various parts of Old Sacramento, he said.
Big Love production staff would not offer any information about the filming schedule or plot details, saying it was against HBO policy.

I’ve been meaning to add these to the gallery for a while now, but wasn’t really able to find the time to do so until now. Anyway, here’s today’s update.
Once again, Chloë’s style column is featured in the latest (August 2008) issue of Elle (UK), featuring actress Charlize Theron on the cover — a preview of the cover to your right. According to the source originally reporting of Chloë being the magazine’s new “style advisor”, Chloë was hired for the job for six months. The August 2008 issue marks Chloë’s 6th column entry, so whether we’ll be getting more of them or not remains to be seen, I guess. Fingers crossed! Meanwhile, enjoy our two hi-res scans of her column — the featured photo is new, so do check them out.
Furthermore, I finally scanned Chloë’s Big Love-themed feature in the July 2007 issue of InStyle (US). Four hi-res scans have been uploaded to the gallery. Enjoy!

Luckily for me, there isn’t a lot of news on Chloë I’ve missed during the server move. However, I do have some tidbits for you today, so let’s get on with it, shall we?
As we reported earlier, Chloë was present at the Los Angeles Times Emmy Screening Series Big Love Panel in June. The people at E! Online have now posted their coverage of the panel, and the article contains some very interesting Season 3 details, which might be of interest to you. A fair warning, though: the article does contain some moderate spoilers. From E! Online:
Meanwhile, Chloë Sevingy, who plays ultraconservative sister-wife Nicki Grant, says all the photos and footage of real sister-wives have finally “justified my hairdo.”
The article also finally gives us a more exact Season 3 premiere date for the series — January 11 2009. We’ll of course do our best to cover it! Thanks to Amanda Seyfried Source for the heads-up!
In other news, the ever wonderful Andrew was kind enough to scan Chloë’s Opening Ceremony-oriented one-pager in the Spring/Summer 2008 issue of Purple Fashion (Fr), a preview of which I’ve attached to this post. Thanks, Andrew!
