First off, I want to give a special thank you to anyone and everyone who has of late sent in Chloë Sevigny-material; it is most appreciated. I will go through all contributions as soon as I can; however, I am currently out of town, which makes updating rather difficult for me. Please be patient! Thank you.

Onto today’s update. Most Chloë fans will surely have noticed she has gotten a lot of magazine coverage of late, and I am pleased to announce there is more. Lux lisbon at The Fashion Spot was kind enough to post some scans of an amazing Chloë in the Spring/Summer 2008 issue of Very Elle (Fr). You’ll find a preview of the cover (featuring model Amber Valletta) to your right.

The photoshoot is brand new and nothing short of gorgeous; you will notice she is wearing outfits from her Opening Ceremony collection. Unfortunately, I’m probably unable to get this issue in my country, so better-res scans would be most appreciated — please do not hesitate to get in touch if you can provide us with some. Thank you!

Chloë is furthermore briefly featured in the latest issue of the French Purple Fashion Magazine (issue #9, I think). Thanks to Andrew for the heads-up on both magazine features!

I’d like to remind you all that Chloë’s “Ask Chloë” style column is once again featured in the latest issue of Elle (UK), namely May 2008. Pop queen Madonna graces the issue’s cover, a preview of which you’ll find to your right. We’ll have some scans coming your way soon, hopefully by next weekend. Stay tuned!

We have word of another new movie project for Chloë! Variety (which is generally a fairly reliable source) reports Chloë and Zooey Deschanel have joined the cast of Divorce Ranch, an indie comedy directed and written by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. From Variety:

Chloë Sevigny and Zooey Deschanel will star in indie comedy Divorce Ranch, produced, directed and written by veteran helmer Michael Lindsay-Hogg. Anne Clements (Quinceanera) will produce along with Lindsay-Hogg. Shooting starts in September.

Divorce Ranch is set in Nevada just after WWII, when a quickie divorce could be granted after residency was established. Sevigny will portray an actress who comes to the ranch with her 6-year-old son so she can then marry a wealthy man. Deschanel will play her assistant.

I was finally able to obtain my own copy of Chloë’s splendid Nylon issue, and have scanned it for your viewing pleasure. You’ll notice that the small Chloë interview we previously thought was from the March 2008 issue of the magazine is actually from the April 2008 issue, i.e. Chloë is not featured in the previous, Rachel Bilson issue.

• ‘Nylon’ (US) April 2008 Scans

Gianluca was kind enough to inform me Chloë was recently on the cover of the French-language Weekend Le Vif magazine, issue no. 5/2008. You can find a preview of the issue at ebay.fr; the most sharp-eyed ones will notice the magazine’s beautiful cover shot belongs to this photoshoot. If anyone is able to provide scans for us, please do not hesitate to get in touch! Thank you.

Several news sources (e.g. New York Magazine, OK!, Contact Music) are reporting Chloë was supposed to host the 9th anniversary celebration of Nylon magazine on Wednesday April 2 2008, but was forced to back out due a viral infection, causing her to collapse prior to the event. Get well soon, Chloë!

I meant to post these yesterday – and then my laptop ran out of battery power. At any rate, on April 2 Chloë showed up at the New York screening of My Blueberry Nights (starring my other silver screen sweetie Natalie Portman). I’m having some difficulty making out what she wore to the event, but I hope you enjoy these 17 medium- and hi-res photos nonetheless. Hopefully more will surface online soon.
