Catwalk Queen reports that Chloë will be designing an entire collection for up and coming fashion label Opening Ceremony! According to the website, you can expect “quirky, one-off, vintage-inspired pieces” from the collection, which will debut at the New York Fashion Week.

Excellent news, everyone! Variety.com reports that HBO have renewed the polygamist drama Big Love, in which Chloë stars as the second wife Nicolette “Nicki” Grant, for a third season!

Although the series has reportedly experienced somewhat of a decline in viewer ratings, HBO says “the network values its original series based on total viewers from six weekly airings, as well as estimates from DVRs and video on demand that indicate the show has a strong following, and a potential weekly viewership around 6 million. Big Love also has become the network’s second-highest-rated recent original series among women, behind The Sopranos.”

This is great news! Congratulations, Chloë!

I just found out that our Chloë Sevigny is one of three celebrities advocating for more environmentally friendly light bulbs in National Geographic’s “This Bulb” video, encouraging people to switch away even just one regular light bulb in order to reverse the effects of global warming. Others featured in the video are actresses Natalie Portman and Kyra Sedwick, featuring music by Aimee Mann and exquisite National Geographic archival footage. Click here to watch the clip!

Although I currently am focusing on revamping another fan site of mine (namely, Milla Fan), fear not – I have certainly not forgotten Chloë Sevigny Online. I have for the time being taken down the gallery for some renovation. However, seeing how much work I have cut out for myself with the gallery, I will put it back online from time to time, whenever I’m not in the middle of working on it. I have a hoard of new pictures to add (including Big Love Season 2 screen captures)!

Magazine coverage yayness! According to a variety of sources, Chloë will be featured in a brand new photoshoot in the September 2007 issue of US fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar. The photoshoot will reportedly make fun at the expense of tabloid celebrities, such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, with Chloë posing in haute couture. As soon as the issue reaches my country I’ll be sure to scan it for you! Below is the cover of the issue, featuring actress Kate Hudson.

Since news on Chloë are somewhat scarce, I thought it would be appropriate to post Big Love, in which Chloë stars as Nicki, episode recaps on the site, starting with the latest episode aired – episode 2.20 “Kingdom Come”.
